Introducing our new “Cider-Maker’s Reserve,” a blend of hard-to-find apples specifically for fermentation!

The Cider-Maker’s Reserve is our new project bringing premium juice, meant specifically for fermenting into hard cider, to you! The blends available will change throughout the season, but will always consist of traditional hard cider apples with complex flavors. The Reserve cider has black caps on the jugs, to distinguish from the usual sweet cider.

Our usual cider, with its signature red cap on the jug, will always exist. It is a seasonally-rotating blend of dessert apples leaning heavily on favorites like McIntosh. It’s meant for drinking as-is, but many have used it for fermenting into hard cider, with varying degrees of success.

North America may have lost a great deal of its hard cider traditions, but they are being reborn, and with them come the kinds of apples that make the best hard cider. Until recently, these traditional cider apple varieties have not been available to those who don’t grow them. To meet the growing needs of home cider-makers, we will regularly produce cider meant specifically for you to ferment alone or blend with our Red Cap, featuring hard-to-find apple varieties like Ellis Bitter, Dabinett, and Porter’s Perfection, among others.

We’ll be bottling in Half Gallons only. If you’re interested in larger volumes, ask while you’re in or send a message through the Contact Us form.
