Visiting during our 91st season:

It’s been peculiar times and we wanted to offer you some tips from the insiders on how to potentially better enjoy your visit in general and in context of the last few years.

Our doors are open:

  • We’ll continue our health and safety practices we’ve learned over the past 3+ years.

  • We’re not requiring masks for entry. We do require that you respect others choice to continue wearing one.

  • If you would ever like a mask while at the Mill, we have a supply on hand, just ask and we're happy to provide you with one.

Fall Season (late-Sept. thru Christmas)

  • Do not park on the State Highway.

    • Our neighbors are great, and even if they weren’t, they deserve to not be inconvenienced by our customers.

  • On the weekends it is busiest in the morning, particularly right at and shortly after opening.

    • Hands down the longest line you can wait in, is the early one. Consider waiting until late morning or afternoon if you would like to see cider being pressed and donuts being made, or if you just want the goodies with the shortest wait, late afternoon through the evening are a breeze.

  • Weekdays, particularly early in the week are the quietest days here at the mill.

  • Our products that are great right when we open, are also great later in the day or later in the season.

    • Just as some varieties apples are better after storage. They aren’t all at their peak at harvest. Consider what that means for cider and pies as well.

General Information

We are a seasonal business with our traditional season running from late September thru Late February or Early March. We pride ourselves on doing all of our production right while you watch, there is nothing we make behind closed doors. Some of our services and products are available for limited periods of time only.

Apples

We offer a seasonally varying selection of New York state apples throughout our Fall & Winter season. You can expect McIntosh (Macs) and Cortlands all season long. We also carry Honeycrisp, Macoun, Northern Spy, Idared, Jonagold, Fuji, and other varieties depending on availability.

Bakery

The Bakery is open and baking pies everyday of the season except the 4 days leading up to Thanksgiving and Christmas. We will have Apple and Dutch Apple pie everyday of our Fall & Winter season. We will also make Pumpkin, Pecan, Blueberry, Dutch Blueberry, Cherry, Dutch Cherry, Peach, Dutch Peach, Raspberry, Blackberry, and Sugar-Free (Erythritol) Apple pies. Our daily selection of pies is dependent on ingredient availability, orders, and the customers before you. From the start of the Fall Season through the second Monday of the Season, we make only Apple, Dutch Apple, and Pumpkin. We do not begin accepting preorders until the second Monday of our Fall Season. If there is a specific pie you would like, we gladly accept and strongly encourage pie orders at least 24 hours in advance.

Donuts

We make donuts on Saturday and Sunday (9 am- 4 pm) from our Fall Opening Day until the weekend after Halloween. We pause to focus our attention on the Bakery through the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, and make donuts again starting in January on Saturdays (9 am - 12 pm).

Cider

We press our famous blend of cider using a Boomer & Boschert Knuckle Joint Press thats design was patented in 1870. From Opening Day until the weekend after Halloween, we press on both Saturday and Sunday. All season long we will also press during the week whenever we need cider. Our cider has no additives and is UV filtered, for the best tasting, purest apple cider.

Store

In addition to all of those delightful homemade items our country store sells a range of other products. We offer a wide selection of cheeses from the sharpest Cheddars to curds and spreads. Our local honey and maple products can't be beat. Our selection of jams, jellies, preserves, dressings, including No Sugar Added options is impressive. No trip would be complete without some local pickles or a piece of fudge!
